Obama has repeatedly said that in 2002, he opposed the bipartisan decision to go to war with Iraq.
He says that showed tremendous political courage.
Did it?
In 2002 Obama was state senator from one of the most liberal districts in America. The south side of Chicago is the Berkeley of the mid-west.
If he hadn't opposed the Iraq war he would have been run out of town on a rail.
I wish McCain would mention this in the town hall meeting.
